Based in Warrington and reporting into the Mechanical Design Manager, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design & delivery of complex mechanical handling, machinery & process systems for heavy-regulated applications in the Nuclear Sector (including Defence, New Build, Modular Reactor & Fusion / Fission Energy Projects).
Specifically, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be leading a small team of Design Engineers to deliver concept-engineered solutions against complex requirements through the design lifecycle (from Front End Engineering to Detailed Design production), ensuring that the designs meet the requirements of the project and are compliant codes & standards.
