The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, be an excellent classroom practitioner who is capable of inspiring and motivating students and have experience of working with children with special educational needs (please note this does not need to be within a special school setting).

Our clients are a special school for secondary pupils from Years 7 to 11 who have learning and additional needs.
You would report to the Assistant Headteacher and be working as part of the Pastoral Support Team to promote the welfare and well-being of students by ensuring good behaviour and the provision of a safe environment.
They require a Student Welfare Co-ordinator to work term time only, 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
