We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Manchester. This role involves general haulage, tramping, and depot deliveries and collections. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 vehicles. Perform tramping duties with overnight stays as required. Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary. Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay): £17.37/h days £18.49/h nights £19.05/h Saturday £21.29/h Sunday £25 - overnight allowance for tramping duties Requirements: Valid Class 1 (CE) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. Experience in general haulage and tramping. A clean driving record with no major endorsements. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
