To succeed in this role, you will already have a proven track record in Freight Sales, ideally multimodal but if you have either road, air or ocean these will still be looked at. These guys are still performing well despite the current market and for the right candidate there can be development and a route into a BDM role, this will depend on you, your preferences re your career, your drive and enthusiasm. With the plans that are in place for 2024 and the negotiating power available to obtain favourable terms with airlines, shipping lines and hauliers, this could offer you stability in an uncertain market as you will be able to pass them on to your customers. Your desk is waiting for you along with the ability to achieve an extra £10k - £30k per year (dependent on you), you can cover any market. Duties are; Source leads Generate new sales, including FCL/LCL, sea, air, road, Import & Export Able to complete quotations with correct clauses Salary: up to £35k OTE: £45,000 - £65,000k Option for hybrid working, 3 days in the office after successful probation 20 days holiday plus bank holiday Parking on site

Customs Clearance Specialist Location: Tilbury Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to £32k We are seeking a Customs Clearance Specialist with a proven track record and experience in freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in processing and completing entries using CDS, including deep sea ocean freight or European road freight clearances. Day-to-day of the role: Arrange an array of import clearances for key clients, processing promptly to ensure a high level of service. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to obtain and provide required information. Process customs clearances accurately and compliantly within HMRC's guidelines. Navigate HMRC's online tariffs and have a good understanding of customs commodity codes and procedures. Use forwarding software such as Multi-freight, CNS, and Destin8 to facilitate customs processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of two years' experience working for a small to medium-sized freight forwarder. Experience with processing & completing entries using CDS. Confidence in navigating HMRC's online tariffs and a good understanding of customs commodity codes and procedures. Knowledge of Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Origin and Preference. Familiarity with CNS, Destin8, and CCS-UK is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel. Dynamic team player with excellent Maths and English skills.
