Transport Clerk roles are temporary ongoing with opportunities for long term assignments. Work well under pressure, to tight and often conflicting time frames Good eye for detail Good computer and I.T. skills Transport Clerk Job role: Brief/Debrief drivers on routes, ensuring all paperwork and driver equipment is correct. Monitor vehicle tracking to make sure deliveries are made on time. Fill in shift performance reports. Complete vehicle defect notes, breakdown callouts where applicable Communicate with customer services via email. Communicate operational updates with Warehouse and transport teams.
