My client is a large multidisciplinary consultancy whose current Reading based team are looking to expand with the addition of an Associate Town Planner.
The team offers commercial, residential, and rural Planning services to clients through the various, and often complex, aspects of the planning process.
In this role you will manage a variety of projects, support leading members of the team, provide direct client advice on sites/projects and conduct reports and planning submissions.
To apply for this role you should hold a planning degree (RTPI accredited ideally) and previous planning experience commensurate to an experienced Town Planner / Senior Planner level.
Joining the established and successful planning team you will help your clients by providing a range of services such as planning consultancy and support, applications, appeals, public consultation, land promotion and strategic development.
In this role, you will work with architects, urban designers, masterplanners and planners with a mix of public and private sector clients on a range of exciting and interesting projects that fall into multiple sectors such as commercial, education, residential, leisure and retail.
A Senior Town Planner is required to join one of the UK's leading and most reputable consultancies within their industry.
This role will be based in their Colchester office, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
Our client has an extensive list of completed and ongoing projects ranging from large-scale new build and refurbishment projects to small value design and construction work.
For this role suitable candidates will have a degree in a planning related discipline and ideally a further MSc (or equivalent), be working towards becoming a Chartered Member of RTPI and will have some previous town planning experience either within a consultancy or public sector environment.
