Your role will include; Working on the saw, with nail guns and other wood tools Supporting the manager to design and build wooden pallets and cases, ensuring the products conform to specifications Ensuring your work space is clean, tidy and complies with health and safety regulations Working both inside and outside and sometimes at our customers' premises when we are packing large or fragile cargo into cases and/or containers Although previous experience is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided. We are currently recruiting for an assembler/packer for a company located in Peacehaven that specialises in printing services in a variety of different packing sectors. The role will be to assist in various duties including packing, cutting, gluing, assembling boxes and other factory related tasks. Some previous experience in similar role is preferred but not essential. Successful candidates must be physically fit, hard working and reliable with a good attention to detail and a high level of dexterity. This is a temporary role for 6 weeks that very likely could be extended. Having your own transport would be beneficial but not essential as the site is located on a good public transport route.
