Key Responsibilities As the Physical activity and Liaison Coordinator, you will bring their pupils' experience to life! You'll orchestrate engaging activities, collaborate with fellow schools for enriching visits, and facilitate guest tours at their esteemed Foundation. Partnering with their People Team, you'll nurture their work experience program, shaping future talent. Plus, step in as a supportive SEA cover when needed. Physical Activities Coordination You will gain accreditation to train colleagues in physical activities and carry out risk assessments for the Young People. Liaise with teacher and department managers to create physical activity timetable. Liaise with local schools and universities who wish to place students for work experience at CHS and work with the People Team to coordinate work experience with CHS teachers. Skills and Qualifications Essential: GCSE Maths and English as a minimum (Grade D or above, or equivalent). Currently hold, or willing to achieve, appropriate qualifications to facilitate sports and activities Has a basic understanding of the care and support needs of people with physical disabilities and respecting them as individuals. Experience of working with children and/or adults with disabilities Able to support children and young adults to participate in a range of activities. Adept at working with IT systems and applications. Currently be or have the ability to become manual handling coordinator Effective communicator both verbal and written. Able to undertake daily manual handling of children and young adults, including pushing wheelchairs, standing frames and use of other equipment.
