Junior Paraplanner Royal Wootton Bassett Salary £24,000 - £30,000 p.a. (depending on experience) Bonus scheme We are delighted to be supporting this Financial Planning firm who build personal, long-term relationships with their clients founded on trust, providing them with ongoing advice and a first class service. They are a growing firm looking for a Junior Paraplanner to join the team and assist in this mission. Junior Paraplanner - Role Overview To support the Advisors to help them when informing & advising clients on financial strategies, plans and products. Prepare and organise the technical tasks, illustrations, and reports as required. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Suitability Reports including, Replacements, New Business, Ongoing Advice to include decumulation, ensure cases are fully compliant Fully analyse clients' requirements, develop cash flow models and accurately record client data; Research and analyse financial products to meet client requirements and objectives; Take full responsibility for the client files and back office IT records throughout the advice process; Deal with general client queries by supporting the advisors and Client services team - Including but not limited to Pension Withdrawals / Trust Amendments /Investment Withdrawals / Bereavements Work with other practice colleagues to ensure application and provider forms are prepared as required and clients are updated throughout the process; Work within and stay up to date with advice framework changes; Conduct Research; Create illustrations; prepare supporting documentation, prior to sale Provide Technical Support to Advisors and client services team Ensure that cases are complete post-sale with all required client identification documentation and necessary application forms; Process applications accurately and record the required management information; Progress applications with product providers, advisers, clients, and other third parties to ensure that each case completes in a timely manner; Project a professional image in both appearance and attitude and provide quality support on time to agreed standards; Attend and contribute to regular update meetings with the Team; Maintain technical competence at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, clients and third parties. About You Knowledge and experience: Knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation; Experience of client management systems; Previous experience of dealing with client enquiries, with the ability to investigate concerns / complaints and provide a satisfactory solution. Previous Financial Services Admin / paraplanning experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment (essential); Minimum Level 4 Diploma PFS qualified or working towards it (or significant industry experience); Familiar with research systems (e.g. Analytics, Voyant etc.)(Desirable not essential); Experience in the administration of Wealth Management Products Pension / Protection / Mortgage / IHT and Investment products(Desirable) Skills and behaviours: Exceptional attention to detail / Able to transpose information accurately; Strong numeracy & written skills; Comfortable creating Suitability Letters; Confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion; Highly organised with excellent communication skills; Broad experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task; Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively; Demonstrates a positive can do attitude at all times; Works well on own tasks as well as on shared goals as part of a team; Enthusiasm to help clients. Excellent face-to-face and telephone client interaction skills and ability to build rapport swiftly; Uses experience to provide support to the administration team, and fully supports the needs of the advisers.
