Job Role: Temporaries Recruitment Consultant - Peterborough Business Support Company: Reed Location: Ground Floor, Suite 2, Unit 5A, The Forum, Peterborough, PE2 6FT Driver: Driving licence and own car essential due to the nature of this role Parking: On-site car park available for free parking Hybrid working: Home working available between Wednesday - Friday after the initial imbedding period Salary: £24,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on previous level of recruitment experience) plus uncapped bonus earning potential Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday Contract: Full time and permanent What is the role? Our Business Support team in Reed's Peterborough office are looking for a new Recruitment Consultant to join their successful team of recruiters where you will be focusing on the temporaries market. This opportunity has come about due to family leave although we would like to train and retain a new Consultant on a permanent basis. It does mean that you will be able to pick up a couple of temps already in bookings, but we are looking for you to invest a lot of time in business development to build this desk back up because there were a few temps that got taken on permanently with clients. The role will very much involve growing new client relationships to fulfil their recruitment needs, then developing this client base into long term profitable relationships. This will require some level of cold calling, business development and account management. We have had a lot of success in this area through doing drops in the local area, which is why a car driver would be essential, but we cover all expenses. You will be working alongside your Business Manager who also recruits for her own successful desk, a very experienced Consultant on a Finance & HR desk billing over £250k per year, a newer Consultant already billing £10k per month, and a brand new to recruitment Graduate who has started billing after initial training. The previous Consultant working this desk now on family leave, was successful with 3 promotions up to Executive Consultant level within 2 years, so we have lots of proven success within the area. Size each project from the plans; liaise with architects or the customer to qualify their requirements. Draft initial design for costing / quote purposes and sales enquiries. Check design criteria is correct via multiple reviews. Complete a quote sheet in excel. Return information to the sales department for them to place or chase on order. Full Design Work Create a project matrix for each confirmed project / order. Produce underfloor heating design layouts using AutoCAD. Update project manager. Liaise with the sales team in respect of any alterations required or made. Produce heat loss calculations for electric and hydronic systems using MS Excel. Use Willms to calculate pipe layouts and design hydronic systems. Load "as installed" drawings onto the system for future reference. Technical Support / Training Respond to general technical queries or enquiries. Liaise with architects / electricians and end users to resolve technical issues. Respond to calls for underfloor repairs to existing systems. Diagnose problems. Raise repair quotations with terms and conditions via e-mail. Explain terms and conditions with the customer as required. Pass repairs and heating surveys to the installation team once quote is accepted. Liaise with trade customers / end users in respect of OEM products. Provide product/technical training for staff as required. Installations Provide the final system design drawings/test sheets for the installation team. Liaise with installers to trouble shoot on-site problems. Component Training Diagnose faults on returned components. Pass information back to the supplier / end user. Recommend next course of action. Person Specification: Looking for a technically minded pro-active recruit to join a growing company.
