The unseen possibilities are limitless, and it all starts with you. Become a Sourcing Manager We're looking for an experienced Manager to join the Commercial team at The Works. This is a new and exciting role within the team where you will be able to lead and take ownership for implementing new ways of working both internally across the trading teams and externally within our supplier base. Working closely with design, buying, merchandising, supply chain and quality teams you will be responsible for driving and co-ordinating our key supplier relationships, supplier assessment, supplier strategy and supplier engagement. Reporting to Head of Quality Assurance & Sourcing you will be an integral part of the team to drive our business and commercial strategy forward maximising efficiencies in how we operate and end to end management of our key partners. Your Mission Lead & own sourcing base & supplier management end to end with a clear process to assess our supplier base and drive key partnerships. Evaluate supplier performance, to ensure that they meet the company's needs and expectations. Working with Tech Services develop a functional / interactive supplier database to capture all our supplier details and data. Develop & manage a supplier scorecard process and embed within the trading teams for us to be able to assess our supplier base objectively. Identify supplier rationalisation opportunities to cut the tail and become bigger and more important with fewer suppliers. Develop & manage an onboarding process for new suppliers and exit process to manage annual supplier numbers. Develop & implement a supplier forecasting plan with the trading teams. Evolve "Key partner Top 20 process" rhythm & routine with targeted growth & return. Be involved in the ethical audit process with Verisio, our dedicated 3rd party ethical compliance partner. Management of supplier T&C's, including payment terms, defect rates and rebates. Work with Procurement Manager and Buying teams to set a de-risked sourcing policy. Develop supplier communication tools and engagement plan. Manage supplier communications and conferences. You'll be the one accountable for running day to day operations on the floor, supporting your functions with their learning and development needs. Your Mission Stock control, ensure that stock pots are within SLA and investigation completed for anything aged Roll call, Planning and capability. Deliver Shift Briefs updating colleagues on Health and Safety, Volumes, Site updates, deployments. Attendance management, Conduct RTW's, Payroll updates. Ensure pre shift checks are completed, accident reporting, near misses, site is clear of any hazards. HR, investigations, right to work checks, performance management, daily site audits.
