Operations Team Leader - Night Shifts Salary: £29,000 - £29,600 per annum Location: Oxford FTC for 6 Months Job Type: Full-time, Night Shifts Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 01.30am start, 42hours per week We are seeking an Operations Team Leader to join our warehouse team, which is the heartbeat of our company. This role is crucial for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and productivity across our warehouse departments. The position requires a proactive individual with a forklift license, ready to take on night shifts and lead our operations with dedication and expertise. Day-to-day of the role: Planning and resourcing the warehouse operation to ensure pack accuracy and efficient management of products to the department. Supervising Warehouse Operatives, providing training, coaching, and identifying training needs alongside Management teams. Ensuring a high level of health and safety and compliance with company policy and transport legislation at all times. Maintaining clear communication and building effective relationships with all team members and management. Addressing issues and challenges in the warehouse operation as they arise, ensuring smooth workflow during night shifts. Required Skills & Qualifications: Mandatory forklift license (training funded by the company). Experience in warehouse management or people management in other sectors. Background in a fast-paced environment, preferably from a 24/7 logistics, warehouse, FMCG, or similar industry. Ability to manage a large operation and liaise at all levels. Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships. Experience in planning and executing warehouse operations. Benefits: Competitive salary.
