What You Can Expect Location - Henley in Arden (Hybrid) Salary - Up to £35,000 Industry - IT Services Work type - Permanent Main Responsibilities of a Technical Engineer A mix of Helpdesk Support and Project work. Maintain, improve, and monitor all aspects of our customer's IT infrastructure, including cyber security, M365, password management, security awareness training, and more. Provide onsite support for network installation and maintenance, PC deployment, customer onboarding, and other tasks as required. Qualifications and Skills 2 years of Technical IT Support experience (2nd/3rd Line); previous experience within MSP environment and project work would be highly desirable. Excellent technical skills modern workplace technology including Windows, Office 365, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting. Relevant IT certifications or qualifications are desirable (Microsoft, Azure etc.) Exposure to cyber security, password management, and 3cx phone system is an advantage. About the Role: The technical support engineer is a customer-facing role that ensures customers enjoy long term satisfaction with our products and services. Technical Support Engineer Requirements: Essential Qualifications and skills: 3 5 years' experience in engineering design and manufacturing Analytical approach to problem solving combined with a drive to deliver products that are not "just like everybody else" Familiar with CAD tools Adaptable and biased to action, solution focused and knows how to get the best from the team Able to remain objective, acting with integrity and honesty at all times Proactive customer-focused attitude Strong attention to detail with ability to organise own workload Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent Advantageous skills and experience: Experience in a regulated industry, such as defence, medical, automotive, etc. Experience of Autodesk Inventor Fluent in technical report writing Proactive in the identification and capture of new business Comfortable working under pressure and with conflicting priorities Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) Knowledge of a variety of engineering design methodologies, including waterfall/V-cycle and agile, iterative approaches Experience of certification/qualification trials and testing Other Considerations: Able to hold a UK security clearance UK driving license Valid passport You may have experience in the following roles: Customer Support Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Product Support Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Systems Engineer, Aerospace Engineer, Defence Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Project Manager, etc. REF-214 604
