Role Overview: As a Technical Helpdesk Advisor, you will support a contract between our client and a third-party company providing smart meters across the UK.

End User Support: Provide prompt and effective support to end users, resolve technical issues, and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations.

Our client, a forward-thinking organisation, is looking to hire a dedicated IT Support and user Management Specialist to handle essential in-house IT functions, support users, and manage hardware on a day-to-day basis.

You will be responsible for the management and monitoring of reactive, remedial and PPM jobs logged against high risk concession contract KPIs and SLAs whilst managing a team of 4 within the FM Helpdesk team.
Our client work with both private clients and a PFI portfolio so candidates with understanding of PFI contracts, would be very well received.
The PFI portfolio is worth circa £20m pa and the private division has circa £10m of contracts and is the existing growth area of the business with new contracts constantly being mobilised.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the liaison between business units and IT, ensuring technology aligns with business goals.
Reporting to the firms IT Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 IT Support Analysts, whilst providing hands-on technical support for all UK offices.
You will be expected to assist the support team in their duties, providing 1st/2nd/3rd line support, via email/phone, in-person and remotely.
Please note this is not an infrastructure support or project management role.
