Your role will focus on selling analytical and sample prep instrumentation used for elemental analysis and metallography. Key Responsibilities: Management of key accounts, nurturing long-standing relationships, and spearheading sales growth. Apply your knowledge in at least one of the following; elemental analysis, metallography, metallurgy, or thermal analysis to offer invaluable insights to both clients and internal teams. Perform the entire sales cycle, from client initiation, objection handling, quote writing to securing orders and follow up. Organise and plan your own diary; make appointments with clients for on-site & virtual meetings. Requirements: Proven track record in account management, ideally within the realm of inorganic analysis, or alternatively any analytical laboratory equipment. Experience or good knowledge of elemental analysis, metallography, metallurgy, or thermal analysis (such as TGA) A good grasp of market dynamics and customer demands within a relative industry such as Environmental, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Metals, Pharmaceutical etc Confident communication and negotiation abilities with a strong customer-focused mindset. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as Materials Science or Chemistry etc.. or equivalent hands-on industry experience Valid driving license - Essential, as this role involves travelling to client's sites Familiarity with CRM software and analytical tools. Field Sales Engineer, North £50,000 Basic Uncapped Commission Car or Car Allowance Excellent Benefits package. This role holds two key responsibilities: nurturing (existing) key client relationships with UK based OEMS whilst managing new inbound enquiries. This opportunity is focused on growth but is not a cold-calling, new business role, you will be client facing, cross-selling and working with Engineers to create bespoke solutions, discussing on-going and future projects. The successful candidate will have experience selling components or technical solutions into UK OEMS. This technical account manager role requires an individual who understands the complexities of developing long-term client relationships. To be considered, you will be a proven salesperson, with at least 2 years B2B sales experience. Ideally having an engineering, mechanical or electrical background. Above all, you will be an achiever, perhaps frustrated by a lack of autonomy or lack of ability to demonstrate your commercial creativity and entrepreneurship in your current role. You will be a consummate professional who is well-presented and possesses superb written and verbal communication skills.
