We are seeking candidates who are ideally CTA qualified or part-qualified, with experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice. Support the Tax Director with tax advisory and planning. Mentor junior staff, review their work, and assist in their training. Stay updated with taxation news and regulations, and share knowledge with tax and accounts staff. Handle personal tax and capital gains tax compliance and advice, including the preparation, review, and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns (HNWI, sole traders, partners, landlords, etc.) and CGT 60-day reports. While experience with IHT, Trusts, and Corporation Tax is desirable, it is not essential. Manage workflow and tax deadlines, coordinating with client portfolio owners to ensure timely and efficient completion of work. Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
