Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
GSL Education is working with a Primary School in York to appoint a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 student with Downs syndrome.
This full-time position requires someone with experience and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our special education teachers to support the academic and social development of students with a range of disabilities.

There is a high proportion of autistic children attending the school so a good knowledge and understanding of autism is essential for the role.
