We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across SEN schools in Southampton and Hampshire.
The successful candidate will work across various SEN settings, supporting students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
Applications from recent graduates who are interested in pursuing a future career in teaching as well as those who have an interest in supporting and working with children with special needs are welcome.
SEN Learning Support Assistant / Special Needs Assistant with a calm but firm approach, excellent communication skills and ability to attune to a child's emotional needs is required to join a well-established Academy Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.
Previous experience of working with a child with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential.
