Excellent Opportunity available Delivery driver/Warehouse Operative Southam £11.64ph Temporary position Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 6:00am-3:30pm Our client in Southam are recruiting for a new exciting position as a delivery driver who is increasing our delivery network, and in light of this growth we are in search of new Delivery Drivers to support the Warehouse team. Duties This role will involve the following responsibilities: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers. Providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Reviewing orders prior to delivery. Obtaining delivery confirmation to our client base using handheld devices. Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. Ensuring the van is clean and ready for the next delivery. Carrying out risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van. Follow all applicable traffic and transportation regulations, including driving within speed limits, proper use of seat belts, and adherence to vehicle weight limits. Comply with company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety. Picking orders Order preparation. General warehouse maintenance duties. Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar role. Full Driving Licence Good geographical knowledge Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills Experience of manual handling. Good time keeping and attendance record. Must be an excellent team player. Ability to meet regular targets. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Be willing to follow all health and safety guidelines. Be willing to work overtime and flexible to work different shifts as and when necessary.
