This opportunity is working for the Access Control Business Unit where a broad range of products and services are designed in order to help in shaping the future of people flow management. Role Overview Reporting directly into the UK Head of Sales, you will own the business in your assigned postcodes. You will have a 'hunter' mentality and be truly proactive in looking for new business opportunities as well as receiving internal enquiries in your area. From identifying your own opportunities to closing them out, you will be responsible for winning your own business. Technical support is available in abundance and will be on hand to assist you with the design aspect as well as supporting you in meetings or from afar. Experience within the Entrance / Access Control industry is not a must but experience within this sector or the Security sector may be advantageous if you have the other skills our client is looking for. Key Responsibilities Build, develop, qualify, and close the pipeline of new business opportunities in the UK Maintain and develop a client hunting list, pipeline and sales plan Ensure the assigned annual sales plan for the role is achieved Responsible for nurturing and developing relationships with the company's existing clients Understand and act upon cross-selling opportunities and present applicable solutions and services of the company's full product portfolio. Understand and interpret the security, operational and financial objectives of prospective clients Maintain frequent contact with all clients and deliver best-in-class customer service by providing new solutions that apply to client needs Deliver advanced solution presentations (verbal and written) to prospective customers that comprehensively outline the solutions, benefits and ROI to the client Understand and monitor market trends and competitor activity Stay current with external and internal developments within the industry Communicate directly with Managers about opportunities and issues and propose solutions Set up ways of monitoring performance of clients and ensure appropriate follow ups Suggest new product development ideas Attend trade shows and exhibitions Travel is required The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years' sales experience, but our client is looking for people who they can help mould - be a sponge! Energy, and lots of it - show real drive and a hunger to succeed; have a 'hunter' mentality A good understanding of sales cycles, whether it's on a new build development or on a retrofit opportunity - who do you target, how do you network and who are the decision makers? Our client is seeking a talented Project Architect to join their established Architecture and Interior design practice based in Lewes. The successful Project Architect will collaborate with a team working on a variety of small to large scale projects within the hospitality and residential sectors. Our client work on a variety of projects, covering different project values and sizes. Hospitality experience is an advantage for the successful Project Architect however experience in other sectors can also be considered. Our client uses Vectorworks on a day-to-day basis however our client is happy to consider Project Architects who have used AutoCAD and Revit.
