Exams Officer Hourly Rate: £16.00 Location: Ashford, Middlesex Job Type: Temporary (2 months) Working Hours: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM Start: Immediate We are seeking an Exams Officer for a temporary assignment in Ashford, Middlesex. The ideal candidate will have a current DBS and be available for an immediate start. This role is crucial in supporting the administration and smooth running of the examination process. Day-to-day of the role : Oversee the administration of examinations within the centre. Liaise with staff, students, and examination boards to ensure all parties are informed of exam timetables and procedures. Set up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment, and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures. Implement and adhere to the examination policy and regulations. Assist with the distribution and collection of examination papers. Provide support to ensure that all candidates have a fair and equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities. Maintain security and confidentiality of examination materials at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must possess a current DBS certificate. Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably as an Exams Officer or in a similar role. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict procedures. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Proficient in the use of standard office IT applications.
