Role: Systems Engineer Sector: Finance Salary: £40,000 Location: Central London My client is seeking a Systems Engineer to bolster and manage our infrastructure, ensuring operational stability, integrity, and efficiency for both in-house information systems and cloud services. Responsibilities include planning, designing, implementing, and supporting complex application and infrastructure projects. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows/UNIX systems, manage user and email accounts, administer network resources, and ensure system security. Additionally, tasks involve installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, virtualization platforms, servers, networking, clustering, storage solutions, and software applications. You will also oversee OS, application, and anti-virus updates, optimize storage performance, and implement storage architectures based on industry standards.
