Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Provide expert professional and technical advice to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues, and partners.
To work alongside Childrens Disability Service social workers and undertake specified work that does not need to be undertaken by a qualified worker, enabling work to be progressed more efficiently and ensuring best outcomes for children and young people.
Under the direction of the social worker, liaise with NCC colleagues, partner agencies and other professionals in order to commission services, share information and keep all parties updated regarding circumstances and plans for children/young people.
Duties and Responsibilities: Undertake direct work with children/young people and their families/carers as appropriate and agreed by the team manager.
A member of a countywide team of staff engaged in the organisation and delivery of services to protect and promote the welfare of children in need of social services in Nottinghamshire.

To contribute to or maintain such records as are required by policy and good practice.
Prepare reports and deal with other documentation as necessary and appropriate.
We are looking for an Emergency Duty Social Worker to provide social work support out of hours to the children and families of Nottingham City, and deliver the statutory duties of the authority.
Supported Lodgings is the provision of accommodation and support to care experienced young people between the ages of 16 and 21, within a home environment (either with an individual or family).
Supported Lodgings hosts provide the support and guidance the young person needs to develop the skills for their move on to independent living.
