This job is all about open doors. About working for an organisation that opens its doors to anyone who needs support. About an open-door culture where we all have each other's backs. And about opening doors to opportunity. Learning skills. Assuming responsibilities. Making a visible difference. This is a non sleeping role where you will support our most vulnerable people through the night. As this is a Relief role you can work the nights most suitable for you. With experience in the sector (recent or not), you know what care means to our residents. Whether it's practical support with a friendly face, acting as a key worker, taking charge of personal plans and quality audits or undertaking SVQ assessments. But it's also a role for a leader, as you'll allocate work, organise rotas, performance management and deliver training to staff. You'll even contribute to our quality improvement through the plan. And, while you help us continually improve, we'll support you own improvement. So, while you'll need care sector experience and a relevant SVQ level 3 to join us, you can soon look forward to adding to both with ongoing training and professional qualifications. This role could also just be the start, as you'll be part of Scotland's largest voluntary social care charity, giving you a huge range of career paths and possibilities. At CrossReach, we help everyone we can, whatever their circumstances. Across our 60-plus services, we have a diverse 1,600-strong team made up of school leavers, people on their second (or third) careers and seasoned care professionals like you. But we're all united by a common purpose: to improve and enrich people's lives. Play your part and you'll earn a competitive salary and rewards, including a generous pension, cash health plan, contribution to your SSSSC membership and a range of leisure discounts not to mention our support for your continued growth. So, if you're looking for the next step in your care career, our door is open. As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos.
