This is a long term SEN Teaching Assistant role commencing in November 2024, with a daily rate ranging from £87.50 - £95.00 dependant upon experience.

Tradewind Education Recruitment are working closely alongside an independent specialist day and residential school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.
The school, based near Clayton-le-Woods, on the outskirts of Leyland and Preston, are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support children across all key stages.
The successful applicant will work alongside the class teacher, assisting the children with work and supporting with pupil behaviour whilst developing a positive relationship with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.
They will be a high calibre individual, well qualified, with excellent motivation, personal communication, and IT skills, with the ability manage their own diary to provide suitable support.
The right candidate will have a proven track record of providing health, safety and environmental support within the construction industry.
