Role Overview: They may also be required to carry out ad-hoc works as directed by the EMCOR Facilities Management Team. Act as an advocate of good practice for the company. Adhere to safe working practices that are followed according to Health & Safety procedures. The role will encompass working on, your own initiative and carrying out, working activities. Carry out any training provided by EMCOR Key Performance Indicators Committed to delivering site safety pledge - zero accidents Areas are maintained at minimum to client & company requirement No adverse reports Positive customer perception What you'll do: Post utilised to support cleaning works when required. Ensure areas of responsibility are kept clean at all times and are of a consistently high standard. Conduct all necessary daily maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery and tools. Respond efficiently to ad hoc requests. To contribute to the delivery of the service requirement by carrying out any other related tasks as required. Ensure that the cleaning equipment and machinery are used correctly and cleaned after use. Any defects should be reported immediately after they are noticed. Check and ensure PPE is suitable and fit for the task and activities being conducted Any other duties as directed. The Cleaning Operation has the following primary goals: To ensure that all EMCOR operations are maintained and provided with high standards. Reflect the flagship status of the operation, working to best practice standards in manpower control, housekeeping, and safety. Support operations in the instance that the Supervisor is unavailable, ensuring service levels and production does not suffer. Promote zero accidents in the workplace, and work towards a positive safety culture & near miss reporting Relationships Reports to the Cleaning Supervisor Demonstrates positive work ethics through task completion Flex working to support site requirements. The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role: Maintain service and repair plant machinery to minimise production down time. Ensure faults, breakdowns or issues are logged and reported correctly Carry out fault finding and repair of equipment and facilities Promote risk assessments to ensure safe systems of working Willingly take up opportunities for training in specialist plant and equipment Promote training for Technicians and Apprentices Support or arrange where required, contracts with external contractors and control their work on site in line with company policies Seek out and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement, production efficiencies and cost effectiveness Support and conduct regular inspections and testing The Candidate: A background in manufacturing environments, ideally with good exposure to both manual and automated production equipment.
