They are presently looking to appoint a Site Services Technician to complete general repairs and maintenance tasks on their water treatment plant, factory and site grounds. Specific duties will entail: Conducting routine checks of water, plant, etc Routine checking of the cooling towers - sampling, replenishment of chemical, etc General maintenance, fabrications and DIY tasks as required Maintenance of trailers Gritting of site when needed Recording of all data to do with the plant Completion of all PPMs This role will suit someone with knowledge of water treatment plant who is able to prioritise. Site Technician - Required to join their offices in East Kilbride, Stoke and Carlisle. Our client is a leading specialist in delivering high-quality geotechnical testing of construction and civil engineering materials. The Site Technician will be to prepare samples for testing activities and carry out tests using manual equipment. The Site Technician will liaise with the site supervisory contacts to ensure all works are completed to the customer's requirements satisfactorily. They will also be able to evaluate technical documents such as construction plans and customer specifications. This role will involve outdoor working and potentially night shift and weekend work. Advise senior technicians and operational members of staff when quality standards are being compromised and take appropriate action to rectify quality issues Use tablets to record test information when out on site and within the laboratory. Ensure all worksheets are completed correctly. Ensure all worksheets are submitted at the end of your shift. Maintain effective and efficient working relationships within the laboratory and when out on site.
