Due to strong market performance, they are seeking to recruit an experienced, well-connected, and proven Specification Consultant to join their already well-established team in Central London to drive profitable business growth Responsibilities Raise our client's profile across all market sectors (however our client is specifically interested in Candidates well connected within the H&L arena), expanding, growing, developing, and nurturing customers through strong business development and relationship-building skills, devising, and executing strategic business development plans and sharing project information resulting in profitable sales and account growth. Demonstrate strong and diplomatic negotiation skills Generating new business through proactiveness in the marketplace. Manage and develop Key Accounts Be confident in promoting solutions on design & sustainability capabilities over and above price Networking and entertaining clients and customers Embracing the London A&D, Dealer, End User, Fit-Out/D&B and Contractor Communities. Grow sales within agreed target markets: H&L (preference) Workplace Healthcare Retail Education Grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline Collaborate with colleagues with professionalism and integrity on projects which are interconnected across the business, supporting each other, and communicating proactively and effectively to ensure they are in the best position to win and secure business. Be relaxed and professional when holding product forums, lunch and learns CPD presentations and other networking, and brand awareness/promotion events. Complete administration on time so that accurate analysis reports can be prepared for use in the measurement of progress and forward planning. ESSENTIAL Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required To be considered Candidates MUST be happy to COMMUTE INTO LONDON regularly and have an excellent working knowledge of who's who in the target sales channels and the inner ways and workings of how to successfully manage a sales cycle from inception through to completion. To be considered Candidates MUST have at least 5-10 years' experience promoting an interior design-led product or service offering along with an in-depth understanding of sustainability, carbon neutral, building regulations and has proven success in securing new work and successfully project managing from inception through to completion. To be considered Candidates MUST have a strong network of relationships, and connections and a complete 360-degree understanding of the A&D, Furniture Dealer, Hospitality & Leisure End Users, Fit Out / D&B / Main / Sub Contractors, and any other companies that operate within the Commercial interiors arena. Experience in successfully managing long-term project selling cycles Evidence of stability and success in a similar role. Must have a growth mindset and must be a proactive field sales professional Team player Computer literate (to include Excel) Entrepreneurial profile: High motivation, dynamism, and autonomy to develop your own business on the specified territory and/or targeted client base, with methodology and constant focus.
