Our client, a global automotive parts manufacturer, is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their Burton upon Trent plant.
The Role
This is an important strategic role within the organisation for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (electrical bias) with experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment to take part in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of plant and warehouse facilities on three rotating shifts.
Known formally in the business as Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Experienced IT Shift Team Lead to head up a 24x7 operations IT support team, this is a pivotal role leading a team of 24x7 IT Support Engineers.
You will ensure the seamless operation of the IT infrastructure round-the-clock and be instrumental in managing, guiding, and enhancing the performance of the IT engineering team.
This role requires working on alternating shifts, one week in the morning and the next in the afternoon.
Join our team on a locomotive conversion project where you will be engaged in hands-on mechanical work, including the replacement and modification of mechanical parts such as coolant pipework.
