Hourly Rate: £11.44ph, increasing to £13.44ph after 12 weeks Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am 4:30pm We are currently offering a temporary Warehouse Operative role with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, maintaining stock control, and ensuring compliance with legislative standards. This role is ideal for someone who can work under pressure and has a keen eye for detail. Day-to-day of the role: Accurately pick and pack all customer orders within agreed service levels and to the required standards. Ensure orders are dispatched with correct parts and quantities, with all product documentation completed correctly. Utilise a scanning device to pick orders unless otherwise stated. Provide support in monitoring stock levels and report any discrepancies. Maintain a tidy and organised stock storage. Ensure the warehouse meets legislative standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Previous experience working within a warehouse environment. Familiarity with using scanning devices for inventory management is advantageous. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate with an increase after 12 weeks. Experience in all aspects of electronics product design including legislative compliance e.g. UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, Safety etc. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload with a hands-on approach. Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Degree educated or equivalent qualification.
