You will be providing technical support to the shift engineering team, reactive & proactive work as required. Client Details My client are an well known institution in the local region, having been around for generations providing their customers with top quality products that have satisfied their taste buds for years. As the Engineering Shift Technician, you will be working as part of a robust maintenance team, focused on electrical & technical support of the equipment across site. Description As the Engineering Shift Technician you will provide technical support to the shift engineering team, with an electrical focus as well as: Key Responsibilities: To provide technical support to the shift engineering team, reactive and proactive engineering work as required. Advise as shift expert in Electrical engineering as and when required To provide hands on technical support whenever necessary to reduce engineering downtime and deliver maintenance plan To carry out root cause analysis on worst performing assets and own any actions generated To coordinate, plan and deliver training to engineers to assist with developing capability in the engineering teams To own and maintain the Preventative and Planned maintenance schedules in line with OEE KPI's To ensure excellent communication within engineering and across other functions in terms of engineering work To ensure adherence to company and sites HS&E rules and guidance in all of the above To continually develop and improve to offer technical support across all disciplines 4 on 4 off - 12 Hour Shifts - 2 Days 2 Nights Profile You will be an electrically-biased maintenance engineer/technician, or electrical engineer/technician, ideally from an FMCG manufacturing background, as well as: Recognised Engineering qualification (Electrical/Electronic preferred) Electrical systems & installation experience CMMS & SAP experience is required Strong understanding of Maintenance systems - Lean principles are desirable Strong understanding of Health & Safety Job Offer £50,000 - £51,500 (Inclusive of Shift Allowance) Overtime readily available Progression opportunities internally 22 Days Holiday
