Our client, a reputable organisation in the education sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Service Manager to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis.

Duties will include
Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day management and leadership to the SEN team, ensuring that staff are supported, workloads are balanced, and that performance is monitored effectively.
Service Improvement: Drive service improvements, ensuring that processes are efficient, timely, and in line with statutory duties and best practice.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure that the SEN team meets the statutory 20-week timescale for completing EHC needs assessments and issuing EHCPs, as well as meeting deadlines for annual reviews.
Manage and oversee staff to ensure effective delivery of services to children, young people, and their families.

Manage, lead and oversee the day to day service delivery of the CwD Service, ensuring the service functions runs smoothly and to a high professional standard in line with good practice and guidance.
Take a leading role with the Strategic Head of Service for Early Help, CwD and family support (Head of Service) in the continuous improvement of the Service based on performance, risk and demand.
