About the Role Managing the various Mechanical and Electrical (M & E) related subcontractors through their contractor design portion (COP) design development, site installation and commissioning, you'll ensure all works are fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract programme. Promoting and achieving our Perfect Delivery philosophy throughout the project, you'll ensure high standards of health and safety, safe by design, quality and customer satisfaction. About You Educated to degree level in a relevant professional accreditation, you'll ideally have a qualification in Mechanical and / or Electrical discipline and will have previous experience with Tier 1 contractor with some experience in pre-construction. With a full understanding of detailed M & E procedures, you'll have a sound level of technical and professional expertise, you'll have the ability to produce M & E design, installation and commissioning programmes, planning and prioritising daily diary, to ensure all targets are met. Demonstrate a good understanding of the quality standards associated to surface preparation. Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements contained within paint manufacturer's technical and safety data sheets. Apply coating materials associated to a marine environment by brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless spray. Undertake and maintain husbandry of working areas and protection of equipment This is a full time role based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard. There may be a requirement to be to work shift work and overtime to support the business needs. A skills based test will be required before a successful offer can be made Essential experience of the Industrial Painter: Ability to read and understand an MoD Book of Reference or relevant industry standards - Desirable. Airless spraying experience and sign writing experience desirable Experience of various painting techniques such as Brush, Roller, Conventional and Airless Spraying Sound understanding of Health & Safety / COSHH. Qualifications for the Industrial Painter: NVQ level 3 Industrial / Marine / painting / Decorating or equivalent experience would be Advantageous Minimum of NVQ Level 2 Industrial / Marine / Painting / Decorating with the appetite to undertake additional training. The successful candidate must be a British National and able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
