We are recruiting for experienced CNC Setter Operators to work as part of an existing team based in Wigston and they pay time and a half for additional hours during the week along with overtime for Saturdays and double time for Sundays if you work both days and plenty of overtime is available As the CNC Setter Operator you will report into the Machine Shop Shift Leader and your responsibilities are to accurately set machine parts using CNC Turning Lathes working to company deadlines As the CNC Setter Operator you will work the following Mornings, Monday to Thursday 6am to 2:30pm, Friday 6 to 11:30am and Afternoons, Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10:30pm, Friday 11:30am to 5pm, this is a rotating shift pattern and you must be able to do both but this does allow you a great work balance As the CNC Setter Operator your main responsibilities include To accurately set and machine parts using CNC Turning Lathes to company deadlines Setting and running of CNC turning lathes In-process checks using measuring equipment to include micrometers, shadow graph, laser micrometer and digital callipers Ability to read engineering drawings To be successful as the CNC Setter Operator we are looking for the following Ability to read engineering drawings Machining of parts in diverse materials with tolerances to 0.010mm / 10 microns In-process checks using measuring equipment to include micrometers, shadow graph, laser micrometer and digital callipers Ability to operate two or more machines simultaneously Following company procedures and work instructions for manufacture Ensuring records relating to machining are documented and maintained Maintain and record TPM of machines Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines Participate in three shift rotation, alternating between morning, afternoon and night shifts Flexibility to work overtime at short notice Taking care to ensure customer proprietary information remains confidential at all times Being aware of quality requirements of the business at all times Being aware of health and safety responsibilities in own and others' activities Adhering to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment, systems and materials at all times Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
