The role is responsible for the security, safety and general appearance of the College buildings and grounds, together with minor works maintenance and repairs, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality customer focused service as standard.
Working as part of a team across all college sites, the facilities technician will ensure all staff, students and visitors along with College buildings, valuables, resources and assets are safe and secure.
They will encourage and engage in an ethos of shared responsibility and respect, to enable the safeguarding and wellbeing of any user of the College.
Assist end-users by directing them to available supporting material or information to improve their experience and ability to self-serve in the future
Being available to respond to client and colleague requests for assistance, guiding them with process, experience and system queries
Manage all client queries to ensure the best experience and resolution in a timely manner and escalate and articulate any significant issues to the appropriate owner including internal stakeholders and third parties as required
