Customer Service Consultant Our client who are one of the biggest building societies in the UK are looking to recruit a Customer Service Consultant for their Branch in North Berwick on a full time permanent basis ASAP. You will be engaging in conversations to find out customers' needs, providing information to customers about our full savings range, products and services that we offer. By really listening to and getting to know the customers you will help them to review their circumstances and what their goals are, whether that be financial, family, retirement, peace of mind or even a new home and through this proactively identify the most appropriate products to suit their needs. Location - North Berwick & Edinburgh ( 1 in 3 Saturday morning shift ) Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 08:45am - 17:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays based in Edinburgh 9am - 12:00pm - Will receive Saturday shift 2 months in advance Responsibilities: - Dealing customers face to face coming into the Branch - Dealing with customers on outbound telephone system and online - Proactively contacting customers over the phone to identify and discuss their needs. - Customer conversations and relationship building - highlighting products and services, booking reviews - Upselling - Recommend products and services, transactional activities, policies, audit, standards etc - Educate each customer on a range of products and services as well as the different communication channels they can utilise to engage directly - Administration work updating internal systems What you'll need to succeed - Background in customer service environment financial services, Hospitality, Retail - Passion about delivering exceptional customer service - Enjoy meeting new people and building relationships - Work well with others, with a 'one-team' mindset across multiple channels. - Have excellent communication skills verbal and written - Are able to deliver outstanding customer service either from a face to face or a telephony background - Are able to grow, adapt and change accommodating business needs and priorities - Any Sales/upselling experience would be beneficial If successful you must be able to pass a full DBS and credit check. About the role We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated Service Advisor to join our team at Mercedes-Benz of Stratford Aftersales. As a Sytner Service Advisor, you will provide outstanding customer care and be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You will inform and consult on vehicle servicing, and keep the customer up to date at every stage whilst answering any questions or queries they may have. You will also liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time. You will also have the ability to give the best advice on our products and services to our customers. This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first, you'll take the time to talk to people, build a genuine rapport and identify exactly what our customers want and need. Sytner Service Advisors work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service. About you Don't worry if you do not have previous experience, we want applications from individuals with a willingness to learn and progress. Training is provided through our dedicated in-house Learning & Development team and outstanding manufacturer courses run by Mercedes-Benz to support your career. Ideally, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail. A strong customer service background would be beneficial as you will be delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a very busy and demanding environment.
