Responsibilities: Deploy, update, configure, and document new Server, Storage, and Backup systems according to standards. Offer 2nd/3rd Line support for Server, Storage, and Backup services, collaborating with internal and external teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure system reliability and availability. Contribute to assessing opportunities for enhanced efficiency and optimisation in Server, Storage, and Backup infrastructure to lower service costs. Recognise potential issues and trends in Server, Storage, and Backup environments, implementing proactive strategies to minimise service disruptions. Conduct Root Cause analysis of service disruptions to prevent recurrence. Requirements: Minimum 3 year's experience supporting Enterprise-level Servers in an Active Directory Domain. Experience building and deploying Windows Server 2012/2016 in a Datacentre environment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot day-to-day issues in an Enterprise Client/Server Infrastructure. Strong experience in planning and upgrading Servers and hardware in a Datacentre environment. Proficiency in Active Directory, including GPO configuration and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Networking concepts. Ideally experienced with Enterprise backup and/or Storage products. Proficiency in scripting tools (PowerShell, VBScript) preferred. Practical knowledge of administering, configuring, and troubleshooting RHEL/SUSE is a plus. Familiarity with ITSM products (preferably SCCM/SCOM) is desirable. Basic understanding of VMWare (ESX, VCenter, VDI) preferred; training provided if needed.
