About the Role We are looking for a Test engineer with excellent software testing skills. You will be part of a testing and engineering team working on a very complex product used by international clients. Activities will include: Carry out a mixture of UI and automated script-based tests on products. Define test cases for new software features. Define new software releases test plans. Logging and tracking issues to the product teams. Configure test environments on virtual/remote machines. Familiar with software installation and configuration. Investigating and performing root cause analysis of reported issues. Develop new strategies to validate all aspects of the lifecycle of the software. Contributing to test strategies, including the assessment of technologies and methods used for the continuous integration, test, and delivery of pipeline products. Qualifications An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Science or Mathematics is essential Previous experience in enterprise level software products testing including both automated and manual testing. Are you looking for a senior position with Quality Assurance, wanting to make a real difference to a businesses processes and management systems? I am currently working with an internationally renowned scientific testing company, who are looking for a new Head of Quality, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs to join one of their clinical diagnostic sites in a permanent, full-time fashion. This is a business critical role, with the successful candidate reporting into the Managing Director. To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of clinical diagnostics, with ample experience working within this environment. You will need a life science degree that backs up your experience, which will be a number of years working within medical microbiology, medical laboratory sciences or biomedical science. You will need strong understanding on quality management, preferably having previously held QA positions in your prior roles, and therefore being very familiar with general QA tasks such as CAPA's and deviations. You will need to back this up with strong technical understanding across the bench areas. You will have knowledge regarding ISO accreditations, including 15189 and preferably 27001. If you are a confident Quality Professional, or a very experienced clinical diagnostics scientist with strong quality experience, then you may be suitable for this role. Unfortunately, pure pharmaceutical QA experience will not be suitable for this role, you must have a clinical diagnostics background.
