Key Responsibilities: Act as the lead professional in statutory cases necessitating a qualified social worker. Undertake assessments and approvals of family link and foster carers. Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulations and court directives. Deliver support, supervision, and training to foster carers and Special Guardians. Coordinate post-permanence assistance for Special Guardians. Foster collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. Maintain meticulous records and participate in continuous professional development. Requirements: Possession of a Diploma in Social Work or an equivalent qualification recognised by Social Work England. Registration with Social Work England. A robust understanding of pertinent legislation and exemplary practices in safeguarding children. Previous experience in statutory environments dealing with children and families. Exceptional communication, organisational, and prioritisation abilities.
