We have a role Based in Leeds for a Lead Senior Support Worker. this is a full time permanent position Aa a Lead Senior Support Worker you will be able to balance the needs of the service, along with your team and the persons you will be supporting, As a senior member of staff you should be able to inspire confidence in your team and help them make sure the highest quality person-centred support is given at all times. if you havnt worked as a senior previously but are looking to take that step up we can help with that but you must hold a level 3 in health and social care. Carer Search Consultancy are working with a large provider of care for vulnerable adults in a residential home. The emphasis of this job will be supporting adults in their daily activities and caring for them. We are looking for someone to deliver tailored residential, and dementia care by maintaining privacy, dignity, and the freedom to decide, fostering independence whenever feasible. Working day shifts throughout the week, you will be expected to: - Provide a residential service for vulnerable service users Practical moving and handling required- Follow care plans for the residents and engage with them- Administer care, including personal hygiene- Ensure the well-being of residents, adhering to CQC care standards- De-escalate challenging situations- Take part in daily activitiesSearch are particularly interested to hear from applicants who:- Have at least 6 months UK based experience in care to vulnerable young adults, in either a residential or domiciliary setting, and are able to provide up to date and satisfactory references Must be able to work some Saturday's and Sunday's. - Have completed and are willing to take further training in moving and handling, first aid and basic health and safety.
