An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a globally recognised leader in healthcare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver continuous improvement and business enhancement projects, supporting Accounting and FP&A teams across the International division covering EMEA and APAC. You will utilise your financial expertise to lead continuous improvement initiatives within our finance processes. Your ability to understand these processes will enable you to undertake process reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient, compliant solutions. Collaborating with key stakeholders across various teams, you will support financial analysis projects providing valuable insights into P&L and Balance Sheet. Your advanced Excel skills will allow you to develop tools and reporting within finance. As a key member of the team, you will also play an integral role in post-acquisition or merger integration. Drive continuous improvement within finance processes ensuring policies and controls are adhered to. Undertake process reviews to identify improvements and implement efficient and compliant processes. Provide valuable insights into P&L and Balance Sheet through financial analysis projects. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across various teams to deliver projects effectively. Identify CI opportunities and improvements, working with IT business partners to implement solutions. Provide project management to a variety of projects across finance, including developing and leading test plans. Play a key role in post-acquisition or merger integration and accounting. Provide technical expertise and accounting guidance during the integration of any acquired business. What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Accountant role will be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of financial accounting and analysis. You will have the ability to understand finance processes and undertake process reviews to identify improvements. Your experience in managing finance projects, including the implementation of new systems, will be crucial in this role. With advanced Excel skills, you will be able to develop tools and reporting within finance. Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase and Power Bi is also desirable. CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand finance processes. Experience in undertaking process reviews to identify improvements. Ability to provide guidance on best practice. Understanding of finance activities across functions including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, GL and FP&A reporting. Advanced excel skills with ability to develop tools and reporting within finance. Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase and Power Bi. Experience in managing finance projects including implementation of new systems.
