What the day will look like The role is varied, depending on the type of project or improvement you are aligned to, but your main responsibility will be to deliver key tasks as part of a wider project team or running a smaller project of your own to ensure a successful outcome. Senior Internal Communications Manager Birmingham, West Midlands (with hybrid working) We're looking for a senior internal communications professional to join our high-performing team in our quest to deliver best-in-class communications to our colleagues. You'll be experienced in designing, delivering, and evaluating campaigns whether that's to inspire people, motivate them to act or change behaviours. Person Specification Essential: An experienced internal communications professional with a background of working in a multi-disciplinary communications team. Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven experience of communicating key messages to audiences in a creative way using a variety of methods. Experience in leading on the development and delivery of change communications, with a focus on supporting colleagues through the change process. Strong planning skills which contribute to an overarching internal communications plan for the organisation. Experience of working with stakeholders at various levels, including providing guidance and using influencing skills with senior leaders. Evidence of affinity with, and passion for, diversity, equity, and inclusion campaigns. Ability to demonstrate experience of continuous development of internal communication tools, identifying methods of improving the offering of the function. Ability to interpret and present data in an engaging manner, including presenting campaign evaluation to individual business areas and demonstrating how the function adds value. Desirable: Knowledge of the gambling sector/public sector. Knowledge of communications strategy planning frameworks (e.g., OASIS) or ability to learn.
