Your Role as Trainee Technical Services Assistant: As the Trainee Technical Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping the Group's Service Desk provide a first-class service to the 900 staff across the business. These roles include: Helping provide technical support for the business Setting up equipment for new starters and rolling out new equipment and solutions as and when needed Managing your workload and Service Desk tickets Co-ordinating with the rest of the team and department to make sure the customer gets their issue resolved and ensuring follow-up actions are dealt with effectively and efficiently Dedication to exceptional customer service Supporting the wider work of the Digital Service Department, helping to migrate services over to the cloud What You Will Bring: A can-do' attitude, with self-motivation and a positive approach to your work Technical IT skills with a commitment to learn and develop An ability to communicate clearly and effectively An ability to use Microsoft programmes including word, excel, teams and outlook An ability to complete tasks well, with attention to detail Excellent organisational skills, including managing your own time and workload Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
