Nine-month fixed contract. Based in Swindon and home. Hybrid three in the office and two from home. Main duties include: Respond to ad-hoc payroll queries and investigate PAYE underpayments/overpayments. Review and process BACS payments, set up PAYE schemes, and assist staff with payroll issues. Accurately input payroll amendments, calculate deductions, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Manage own portfolio of clients from start to finish, including handling complex calculations and queries. Stay updated with technical knowledge and legislation changes to provide expert support. Act as a subject matter expert, review, and verify payroll reports for accuracy. Communicate with HMRC regarding underpayments/overpayments and manage holiday and CIS schemes.
