Accountabilities Work with the HR Business Partners to resolve client queries promptly, accurately and effectively through appropriate and relevant HR solutions to suit each business's culture and vision Advise and support on employee relations activities, including absence, capability and performance, all types of leave, grievance, disciplinary and restructuring. Provide HR support and / or note taking at formal meetings, hearings and appeals as necessary. Delivery of projects for our clients such as managing recruitment campaigns, implementing our HRIS and writing client-specific policies / handbooks. Supporting colleagues with delegated work from their projects and clients, and taking advantage of the range of skills within the team to draw in their expertise for your clients when needed. Decision making within your personal knowledge and experience, and in line with established Redway frameworks and legislation Tabling suggested changes and developments to Redway frameworks at team meetings for discussion and approval. Liaison with external stakeholders such as employment solicitors, benefits providers, payroll bureaus or recruitment agencies to deliver the requirements of our clients. Driving sales through occasional networking events and engagement via social media eg LinkedIn. Working in line with our social and environmental performance indicators around energy consumption, recycling and volunteering. Requirements: To be successful in the role you the following are essential: Previous experience in an HR advisory role, in particular policy work and employee relations An understanding of the employment legislation relating to the role Secure in the use of IT; for example HRIS, MS Office Excellent organisational skills; able to juggle conflicting priorities and to tight deadlines Excellent written communication skills Able to retain motivation and passion while working remotely Sound analytical skills Willing to travel with driving licence and own car Good broadband speed (minimum average download speed of 25 Mbps) The ability to absorb, understand and act appropriately on client information It would be desirable for you to have: GCSE or equivalent English and Maths Level 3 HR qualification (or equivalent) Experience in an HR shared services team or HR function in a multi-site organisation Other information: The role is hybrid - part home-based, and candidates will need the ability to travel to client sites across the home counties and London (possibly further afield on an occasional basis), and to team meetings usually in Harpenden, Herts.
