Customer Insight Analyst (Data Analytics) Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension) Location: Hybrid/Edinburgh (2 days in office) Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella day rate or salary is available for suitable candidates Role purpose This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing and increasingly influential team. As a Senior Design Analyst you'll be responsible for embedding a data-driven approach to the design and delivery of change, using a wealth of data sources to help inform solutions to the problems and opportunities facing our customers. What are we looking for? We're looking for an experienced data/Insight analyst who will be responsible for the analytics agenda within a particular change domain. Someone who is able to support the design of customer centric change through the delivery of robust, high quality, actionable customer Insight. You'll need to show a passion for the role data can play in driving evidence-based decision making, and an ability to translate data into practical analytics which creates impact and influences the direction of change. Someone who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues from across a number of fields, balance technical and business narratives, and effectively prioritise their own resources. Essentials: Excellent understanding of SQL Strong analytical skills and knowledge of analytical techniques A track record of translating data into compelling stories Strong understanding of all aspects of financial services A strong communicator with great influencing skills Desirables: Experience of GCP, R or Python Experience of Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI A good knowledge of core analytical methods and statistical approaches Predictive modelling experience Experience of measuring the impact of change Candidates will need to show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
