Purpose: The International Senior Project Manager will work with clients to create and execute ideas that make the client's exhibition unforgettable. The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of exhibition delivery whilst furthering work with the Account Director to drive organic growth and assist with particular aspects of Business Development and the up sell of company services. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage exhibition booth presence from pre-production through to on-site & derig Work closely with the M design team to assess costs and evaluate delivery complexity Manage an on-site team comprising external AV/exhibit contractors alongside the internal team Oversee the development and delivery of print production Maintain and drive revenues with a focus on maintaining appropriate margins Negotiate with extended partners to gather the best price (AV, exhibit build, services etc.) Liaise with suppliers, venues, and internal stakeholders Manage all cost sheet programmes, including budget management. RESPONSIBILITIES EVENTS Project manage high-quality, complex and production-heavy events from briefing, design and planning through to onsite delivery. Your skills in this area will need to be passed on to the more junior members of the team You will need to attend venue site visits and create site visit reports for internal and client review. create onsite docs, manage host schedules, supplier and staff contact lists, crew lists, running orders, run of show and team briefings You will need to be comfortable with creating a branding scope & deliverables briefing document specific to different venues Providing Social media content when attending networking events, FAMs, exhibitions etc - Networking with the industry by attending relevant events Shipping of event related materials around the world as needed You will work with the rest of the Sleek team to help deliver high quality events onsite. This will involve being onsite pre-event, during the event and post event As well as your ability to create strong relationships with clients you will need to develop strong relationships, suppliers, internal Sleek staff members and other stakeholders such as event sponsors PROCESS Fully understand, follow and implement internal processes and importantly ensure they are being followed by other junior members of the team. Follow internal critical paths, client deadlines and supplier deadlines. You will be expected to manage projects of all sizes to tightly managed deadlines. Managing deadlines across the entire team will also be an important part of your day to day activities Budget management for projects of all different sizes is an important part of this role. Your day to day activities will include managing internal budget processes quotes, creating PO's, payment schedules, processing invoices accurately and post event reconciliation As a Senior Project Manager, you will be a key part of the events team. Junior members of the team will rely on you for support and guidance. Senior members of the team will rely on you to support them across different projects. You will have an understanding of the team capacities and when there are issues with the ability to deliver projects You will work closely with the Head of Project Delivery and the Operations Director on resource planning for projects to ensure the right teams are in place for different projects Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process COMMERCIAL A commercial mindset is important in this role. You will need to demonstrate a track record of maximising profitability of events You will be comfortable in negotiation with suppliers. Negotiation can be on price, services, scope, timings etc You will have experience in working on and sometimes leading RFP's. You will need to support the rest of the team in the preparation of RFPs/proposals and guide junior members during that process You will be expected to identify potential opportunities for Sleek with existing clients and ensure they are maximised plus brought to the attention of the Event Director and or the Senior Management Team. This requires a commercially minded approach to client management New Business Development will be something that you are comfortable with.
