We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice in Stokenchurch who are looking to recruit a Senior Paraplanner to join their team to support one of the top Advisers and working alongside our Head of Paraplanning Key Purpose of the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic support to one of the Financial Advisers of the firm, responsible for over £30 million of funds under management. They will be expected to have a high level of independent responsibility, whilst being involved in a wide range of activities. This exposure allows the candidate to develop transferable skills as well as strengthening their industry knowledge. The core purpose of the role is to provide a technical service to an adviser in order to provide the client with a positive professional experience. Tasks Preparing analysis on existing financial products. Formatting recommendation reports for clients. Formatting and sending letters / portfolio reviews to clients. Completing analysis and due diligence on existing client products. Sourcing and obtaining quotations of new products. Tax calculations. Ensuring all suitability reports are compliant. Communicating with clients via email and over the phone Job Standards Chartered or on the way to Chartered or at least Dip Qualified with 5 years experience Good IT office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, internet Have, or have the ability to acquire, a sound knowledge of financial planning Develop and maintain systems and procedures which improve the efficiency of client case preparation and submission Confidence and the ability to use initiative Good personal time management - Personal Assistant experience would be an advantage The ability to work as part of a team and to deal with colleagues, clients and providers at all levels outside our business A high level of analytical capability with a high level of commercial experience/judgement Provide a point of contact for clients and providers when the adviser is unavailable
My client is looking for a Senior Accountant who would be supporting their financial team to coordinate activities, generate reports and lead in the specification of new systems and process developments. Responsibilities Delivery of the monthly, half yearly and annual financial and regulatory reporting. Ensure all key deliverables, including returns like Solvency II, are delivered accurately and on time, meeting cost and quality metrics. Provide accurate and timely reporting of financial positions including Statutory Accounts and Solvency II returns. Analyse results and query figures and provide insights on the data available. Qualifications Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Experience in life insurance industry, regulations, finance operations and reporting. Knowledge and experience of Solvency II and IFRS17 regulations and requirements. Strong financial analyst skills able to solve complex problems that have broad impacts.
