You will oversee complex legal projects, but you'll also contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the department. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Legal Project Manager Legal Project Management of legal projects/matters across the firm throughout the whole lifecycle. Mentor and guide Legal Project Managers, fostering professional development. Supporting the Manager of Legal Project Managementin championing and promoting the services of the legal project management and wider Transformation and Projects team. Work with the Manager of LPM to implement the strategic goals for the team and monitor progress. Feed into the overall strategy planning for the LPM team. Input into pitch materials on how legal project management can support the delivery of legal services and being part of pitch team. Being a trusted advisor on Legal Project Management within the team and the firm. Foster collaboration among legal teams, clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication channels. Collaborate with the firm's reporting team to produce bespoke management information in line with the clients' requirements. Collaborate with the firm's Innovation team to ensure we keep abreast of technological improvements that could benefit our clients and our legal teams. Actively contribute to the growth of the Legal Project Management (LPM) team by recruiting, onboarding, and developing new talent. Skills & Attributes of the Senior Legal Project Manager You will be an experienced Legal Project Manager, able to show strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of Legal Project Managers. Be a 'go to' person for Partners, Clients and stakeholders across the firm. In-depth knowledge of legal processes and procedures. Able to understand law firm dynamics and deal competently and diplomatically with all levels. Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal information. Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles in legal project management. Ability to manage client relationships and expectations, ensuring client satisfaction. Flexibility to adapt to changing legal landscapes and evolving project requirements. Skills in team building, fostering a collaborative and productive environment within the Legal Project Management team.
