Position: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: A competitive salary of up to£40k per year Location: Lichfield Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their award-winning team of RIBA chartered architects. The practice has a broad portfolio, working across diverse sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, education, retail, healthcare, leisure, urban planning, heritage, conservation, and ecclesiastical throughout the UK. Role Overview: This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a well-established architectural firm and contribute significantly across all RIBA stages, particularly within the commercial and conservation sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from concept to completion, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external consultants. Essential Experience and Skills: A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in the UK construction industry. Proficiency in Revit is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD and NBS Create is desirable. Strong skills in construction detailing and a solid understanding of current UK Building Regulations. Excellent presentation and communication abilities. Previous experience in residential projects is preferred but not essential. Membership in the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT) would be an advantage, though not mandatory. Opportunities for training and accreditation are available. Key Responsibilities: Produce accurate technical and detailed working drawings. Coordinate effectively with consultants to ensure seamless project execution. Lead new projects, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations. Attend and chair site and design team meetings. Support and mentor junior staff members within the team.
